If you fall into this category, the first type of loan you will want to take a look at is the subsidized Stafford loan - the ultimate of the student loans bad credit.<br /><br />The main reason that subsidized Stafford loans are the ultimate student loans for students with bad credit is that they are subsidized by the federal government. This allows for a few different advantages including the fact that you don't have to have good credit to qualify for them. The government acts as the guarantor of the loans taking away the bank's risk. Students with bad credit can take out these loans and pay the same interest rates as people with good credit. The government pays your interest for you while you're in school so you won't have to make payments.<br /><br />After you have maxed out your subsidized Stafford loans, you will then want to take a look at unsubsidized Stafford loans. You have to make payments even if you're still in school but you can still get them if you have bad credit because the government will guarantee the loan. These are absolutely great poor credit student loans and as long as you have financial need you should be able to qualify.<br /><br />After your unsubsidized loans are all the way maxed out, you can take a look at Perkins loans. These are harder to qualify for because you have to have a lot more need to qualify for them. This means you will have to have less income than people that qualify for Perkins loans.<br /><br />Student loans no credit actually aren't any different than bad credit student loans because your credit isn't checked at all with these loans. You can expect to qualify with absolutely no credit check.<br /><br />After you've maxed out everything I've talked about on this page, you can take a look at private student loans. However, to find private student loans for bad credit you will probably need to find a cosigner. Since the government won't guaranteed this type of loan, the bank would be taking on too much risk without a cosigner.
